The tower of the kings of Aragon has a plain square Gothic base and is crowned by a belfry, an octagonal structure built by the town consuls in the 17C, when it served both as a clock and as a watchtower. The tower was once used as a prison. From the top, there are superb panoramic views of the town, viaduct and surrounding limestone plateaux.
