Useful information

Description

Housed in the former premises of the National Bank (late 19C), this stunning private collection of decorative arts covers a very particular period in history (from the end of the reign of Louis XVI to the First Empire). It includes a fine collection of clocks and fine porcelain, as well as earthenware, superb goldwork (from Mons and France), gilded bronzes, paintings, engravings, and many pieces of antique jewellery (including rare cameos) which have been preserved in exceptional condition. The collections of pendulum clocks and porcelain are extraordinary.
