Useful information

Description

Located to the east of Montreal, this small island, discovered by Samuel de Champlain in 1611, was named after his wife, Hélène Boulé. Transformed into a pleasant park, it has become popular for its cross-country ski trails in winter and its open-air swimming pools in summer; the island is often packed at weekends.
