Useful information

Description

By taking the N 959 that skirts the right bank of the Meuse from Namur, on your left you see the rocks rising 70m above the Meuse. It was here that King Albert I fell to his death while rock climbing on 17 February 1934. A cross stands halfway up the face, marking the spot where his body was found. The surrounding forest has been designated a national park.
