Useful information

Description

The Palazzo Comitini was built in the 18C for the prince of Gravina. Somewhat marred by the addition, in 1931, of an extra floor, the building (once two separate palazzi) is now the headquarters of the provincial council. It's well worth visiting not only to admire the province's excellent modern art collection, but also for the Sala Martorana, an old ballroom decorated with wood panelling dating from the 18C.
