Useful information

Description

The tower of liberty is made of 1 400 tonnes of steel, cables and glass rising 36m above the ground. Initially erected in the Tuileries Gardens in Paris for the bicentennial celebrations of the Revolution, the tower was relocated here in 1990. It displays a jewellery collection crafted by Heger de Loewenfeld, inspired by a book by Georges Braque. From the top of the tower the view takes in the town and the Vosges mountains.
