Description

The majestic Mont Orgueil Castle cuts an impressive figure overlooking Grouville Bay. The construction of this impressive defensive structure dates from the 13C, to which new fortifications were added later. Relive the highlights of its history and then follow the maze of paths and steps to the top of the fortress. From there, as you gaze on the panoramic view over Gorey Harbour, the Bay of Grouville and Petit Portelet, you will understand why no one ever even attempted to take the castle by storm!
