Description

Tatihou Island (29ha), which is accessible on foot, depending on the tides, is located on the eastern coast of the Cotentin. Gardens and a protected nature area of 20h of moors, dunes and shores shelter the coast's flora and fauna. The Maritime Museum focuses on the island's history, fishing in the Channel and life on His Majesty's ships at the time of Tourville. The island and seaboard can also be appreciated from the top of the tower of the old Vauban fort.
