The Church of the Transfiguration with its domes covered in silvery aspen shingles (1756), and its more modest neighbour, the Church of the Resurrection (1776) are surrounded by isbas with reconstructed interiors, as well as mills, sheepfolds, wells and barns on stilts on the banks of the Kamenka - thus protected from flooding and fires. In this reconstructed 18C and 19C village you can explore the traditional lifestyle of the Russian peasants.
