Behind the façade of the Casa de los Sánchez, comprising two houses dating from 1738 and 1785 respectively with a wood-framed terrace and iron fencing, visitors can admire a superb example of a typical Trinidad interior in which furniture and old exhibits bear witness to the sophisticated way of life of former times. Today, the building is home to the Museo de Arquitectura Colonial, retracing the town's architectural history.
