Useful information

Description

This museum charts the long history of Jewish presence in Poland, which spans nearly 1000 years and is too often reduced to World War II. The museum is symbolically located in the north part of the former ghetto. Its rich holdings and innovative museum layout mingling sound, objects and interactive displays are admirable. Don't miss the reconstitution of daily life in a small town in the 17-18C. The museum is also home to an active cultural centre.
