Useful information

Description

Predating Williamsburg itself, this lovely university college ranks as the second-oldest institution of higher learning in the US, after Harvard. King William and Queen Mary chartered it as a theological college for gentlemen in 1693, and in 1695 the foundations were laid for the U-shaped Wren Building, believed to have been designed by prominent English architect Sir Christopher Wren. Today, thousands of students are enrolled at this prestigious institution.
