Useful information

Description

Some parts of the cathedral, such as the west tower with its crenellations and pinnacles, date from the 15C. The church, which is dedicated to St Peter, became a cathedral in 1919. The fine stained-glass windows in the choir were made around 1862 by William Morris, Rossetti and Burne-Jones.
