Description

This type of Bronze Age monument, consisting of a stone circle and a recumbent stone, is characteristic of the northeast of Scotland. The circle around a small cairn (pile of stones) was reused as a funeral site. Adjoining it is an ancient cremation cemetery enclosed by low walls.
