Built in 1828, this palace boasts an elegant façade which combines local traditions with the neo-Classical style, including some superb trompe l'oeil features. The building now houses the Museo Municipal de Historia and its eclectic collections including Cuban furniture, French porcelain trinkets, and American lamps. From the top of the tower, the view over the town and to the peaks of Sierra del Escambray is stunning.
